Olga, a film made in 2004 by Brazilian director Jayme Monjardim, is emotionally moving and an inspiration to all people who crave a just new world. It is adapted from the biography by Fernando Morais on the German, Jewish and communist Olga Benário.
It’s a great Brazilian movie that represented the nation in the Oscars. It tells the true story of Olga a German Jew with strong beliefs and ideals that lead her on a dangerous journey through European Nazism and Brazilian cruel dictatorship in the late 30´s.
The dialogue is Portuguese with English, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.
